Synopsis

This is a pre-produced drama. Filming began on 2017-November.

This drama tells the story of a young boy who travels to the United States during the 1871 Shinmiyangyo (U.S. expedition to Korea), and returns to his homeland later as an American soldier. He then meets and falls in love with an aristocrat’s daughter.

Gebeurtenissen in een zeer rumoerige tijd in Azië eind 19'de eeuw.
Door een misverstand raakt de Amerikaanse marine, die op een diplomatie missie naar Korea kwam, slaags met de Korea.
Een zeer bloedig conflict, waar de Koreanen het onderspit dolven.

Over de achtergronden is veel te vinden.
Het drama zelf schijnt één van de duurste produkties ooit te zijn, en dat is in ieder geval te zien aan de kwaliteit van de verfilmingen. Beeldschoon !
Maar als geheel krijgt het ook hoge beoordelingen.
