Synopsis

This drama is about a materialistic female prosecutor who does not hesitate to use personal attacks, fabricate evidence, and incite perjury in order to win her case is assigned to lead the special task force for sexual assault crimes.

Ma Yi Deum (Jung Ryeo Won) has worked as a prosecutor for 7 years. She sometimes resorts to drastic methods to win cases. One day, Ma Yi Deum is transferred to a special division dealing only with sex crimes.

Jung Ryeo Won als Ma Yi Deum in Witch's Court, de juriste die zowel als advocaat en als aanklager net binnen de lijnen van het geoorloofde blijft.

Jung Ryeo Won schitterde in The Salaryman als asociale rijkeluisdochter.

Ze neemt een heel aparte plaats in in de groep van Koreaanse top-actrices .
Hoewel ze geboren is in Korea heeft ze haar tienerjaren in Ausralië doorgebracht.
Ze moest daar van zich afbijten als één van de weinige Aziaten op de scholen.
Dat is goed te merken in haar rollen.
Hoewel ze bepaald knap is en heel charmant kan zijn, zal ze nooit het deemoedige meisje kunnen spelen.

In WItch's Court is ze nog wat feller, en doet het geluid van haar hakken alleen al haar tegenstanders zenuwachtig worden.
Gepaard met een heel lief lachje dat vol vergif zit.
( Ik kan maar aan één andere acteur denken die dat ook zo mooi kan: Gene Hackman )

Genoeg komedie in de serie, maar de spanning loopt gaandeweg naar een hoogtepunt.
